Photographed in September. Lanky shrub to 2 meters in height. Sparse foliage (in spite it being near end of rainy season) and flowers small (somewhat less than 1 cm). Only one plant observed; might not be native as found along a trail.
Thank you David. Marina diffusa flower and leaf match and my plant showed distinctly red stems for which M. diffusa is well known. To top it off, I see that it has been recorded in two other locations in the same small range (Sierra de San Juan Cosala), on SEINet.
