    Additional info: this flower is liked by bees, bumblebees etc. Photos were taken early July.

    Thank you very much, I will tell my aunt that her mysterious plant is now identified!

    From looking at images it seems that Echium Vulgare seems likely (I also assume that it is one of more popular species).

    Echium sp.? What "sp." means in this context?
