Can anyone help with this daisy, please? I saw yesterday in a garden in Christchurch, New Zealand where it is currently midsummer. The plant appears to grow to anything up to 2m tall. The leaves are quite large and generally undivided. The flowerheads are quite small in relation to the size of the plant but up to 75mm across. They mainly have just 8 ray florets and the arrangement of the disc florets and their obvious tubular structure appears quite distinctive.

My first thought was one of the many North American daisy genera but I haven't been able to find a really good match.

    Thanks
