    image.png image.png Hi guys
Can you help my identify the houseplant in the attached photos.
It appears to look like a philodendron (or pothos) but it doesn't have glossy leaves
If you'd like a closer look it's in the YouTube video below from 0:23 seconds in

    Much appreciated

    Great thank you wcutler
On the video it appears to have non-glossy leaves
Are you aware of a variety of philodendron without glossy, shiny leaves
    Cheers

Pretty much all of them are not glossy as far as I've seen or grown. Some are even that bluish color that is often due to a dull waxy surface. That's definitely a Philodendron hederaceum and not Epipremnum aureum or pothos. Buying them in a florist's shop, they may have had a gloss painted or sprayed on them, not generally a good thing.

Great thanks thanrose. In that case, il think I'll pick one up and see how it goes.

Quick question; in your experience did you find these plants to actually tolerate low light

The space I want to put it in is in a bright south south facing room but about 10-11 feet away from the window. Do you think it will be okay there or just grow long and leggy?

    Cheers

Ah, they always do better in the tropics and outdoors, but it should be fine in your conditions, too. They will tolerate low light.

    Thanks edleigh7

Do you know if philodendron hederaceum and Philodendron scandens are the same plant?

I am trying to buy hederaceum in the UK and can only find Philodendron scandens for sale? They both seem to be called heart leaf philodendron

Philodendron scandens is a synonym of Philodendron hederaceum.
