Weird tomato plant leaves

    Hey guys,

    Recently, I have noticed some of my newly planted potting tomato plants have weird leaves. I have attached a picture. I hope it is nothing serious!!!

    It is still like this. I am afraid that it is the scale bug problem. It's like they lay their eggs in the veins and make the leaves look like that.

    Possibly. I have to say (in my limited experience with these), it is strange. Typically, one sees the reverse: dark green veins, lighter colour interveinal leaf tissue. Hopefully someone with some direct knowledge pipes up.

    @ClareL: It looks like you grow your Tomatoes in non-breathing glass jars that almost certainly have no drainage holes at the bottom. If so, the problem may have its roots in too much moisture and not enough air at the plant roots level.
