white flowers hawthorne/hawthorn

    Aloha Bonjour

    we have this white flowered Crataegus on campus but I cannot decide on the identification

    it is unarmed except for a few spines on the trunk. ovate leaves to about 10cm about 3-4m tall, white flowered fragrant but not pleasantly fragrant.

    please and thank you for any help in an identification

    Yes, probably Crataegus x lavallei.
