Euphorbia disease?

    This euphorbia characias subsp. wulfenii has developed an interesting deformity. I presume it is a virus infection, but I would be interested to know more about it and what might need to be done.
    In the Pender Harbour area.
    I have added the last picture to show what it should look like.

    Here's a link about fasciation. I think that's what's happening to your plant. I have seen some other Euphorbias that have developed this aberrent growth pattern.
