Shrub??

    This plant is green all summer with white drupy flowers in spring. Now it is very red.

    A spindle Euonymus of some sort.

    Itea Virginia

    Had another look; it isn't a spindle after all - on close checking the leaves are alternate not opposite as I first thought.

    Might be a Dogwood

    Leaves too narrow for dogwood, branching habit different also. Itea is more like it. Might be 'Henry's Garnet'.
