webby headed grey leaved orange flower id

    This popped up amongst my sunflowers and marigolds --don't know where it came from or what it is, leaves very soft, grey green colour with highly lobed shape, flower head webby before opening, folds down like sleeping when dusk comes, almost looks like an orange sunflower inside except for the addition of tiny stamens around the edge of the centre. I am in Calgary, Alberta

    It's monarch of the veldt, Arctotis fastuosa (also referred to as Venidium fastuosum).
