Identification: Is this Mussaenda erythrophylla?

    could it be a Bougainvillea instead? I am always confused between the two

    Yes, I am confused too. I looked at picture in wikipedia and this one looks quite the same, different color. Bloedel Conservatory lists Mussaenda erythrophylla in their collection, why I thought it could be Mussaenda enstead of Bougainvillea

    It is a Bougainvillea. Here in India we call it Bougainvillea 'Torch'
