Identification: what is wrong with this plant?

    1-Could you please let me know what is wrong with this plant? the leaves begin to become black from a corner and continune to extand.

    2- What should be done?

    3- what is the name of this plant?

    Probably overwatering, with consequent root rot. The soil there looks very soggy. Wait until it is nearly dry before watering again.

    Is there a draining hole at the bottom of the pot? If not, move your plant to the pot that has one. Put a saucer beneath the pot. Water enough each time for the water to show up in the saucer. It should get pulled back up in an hour or two. If not, it will mean you water too often.
