Orange flower growing on vine in tree in Kentucky

    Can you help me identify this orange flower growing on a tree in the Perryville Battlefield in Kentucky? The photo is from July 2013.

    I was thinking that it might be a Trumpet Creeper (Campsis radicans) but I really don't have the expertise to know.

    Any help would be appreciated. Thank you.

    You are correct ....it is Trumpet Creeper (Campsis radicans)
