Hi, I got this plant as a gift, but I have no idea what is it! The leaves have some hair on them but it is sparse and not as soft as a normal fuzzy leaf. Bottom of leaf has no hair on it. The plant came from a reptile trade show, so i'm guessing it needs humidity and lots of water. Any help so I can care for this little guy would be appreciated!

Nice set of photos for ID. It's a begonia. Some of them have a tendency to get mildew, so I'd have said not humid and not a lot of water. For sure, not roots sitting in water. If you're keeping it in a pot, water it when the pot feels light. They're supposed to like shade, but I see them all the time planted in full sun looking wonderful.
