Grevillea-deer resistant?

I would like to hear from gardeners who have deer visitors in the Pacific North West. Specifically have you grown Grevillea species ? How hardy are they and have deer ever eaten them?
This is for a friend who has a cabin on Mayne island and would like some plants that do not need deer fencing around them. Thanks!

 

Deer do not seem to be interested but low temperatures can be a problem. As with other groups hardiness varies between the specific kinds.

 

www.westcoastseeds.com. puts out a deer resistant wild flower seed package. They should be able to answer your question re Grevillea.
I'm not familiar with it. You might look into Lupins, they come in a variety of colours .Blue is the natural colour.Lots of seed pods per plant.

I have tried to locate the deer resistant seed package but every store I tried is sold out.
