Read in Christine Allen's book on climbers that Passion Flower was a good candidate for a large pot.
Any experience with this or opinions?
    thanks

I have had success with them in smaller pots they seem to put on alot of growth in foliage and vines, my grandmother had one in probably a 3-5 gallon pot in her sun room it didn't really fill the pot just covered the room in vines. At the moment home depot just got a shipment of them in with their clematis order, they are $9.99 and garden works has them for $15

I've had one in a large pot for 3 or 4 years. I put it in a frost proof cold room all winter long (where I overwinter fuchsias) and bring it out into the garden about now.
