Yellow labiate flower with popping seed pods

    I've scoured the Internet to identify this plant. I landscaped last year and pull it out and took it home (it was either home or the compost bin). It has little labiate (I believe that's the term) flowers, serrated leaves and long seed pods that pop open when you touch them.

    I've only seen this plant once in the wild and it was near a river. I live in Whistler if that helps.

    This should be Impatiens parviflora.
