Is it this one? It matches description. Amanita virosa?

The Destroying Angel is a member of the genus Amanita, a group of mushrooms that are extremely poisonous. Look for the three key identification features: (1) the ring around the stem near the cap, (2) the cup at the enlarged base of the mushroom and (3) the white gills under the cap. 1

You will need to take a spore print on this one. White means you have an Amanita.

To me the mushroom looks just like Leucoagaricus naucinus, which has a white spore print. However, the usual habitat for L. naucinus is lawns.

vitog has a good point. Speaking to that, what was the actual habitat? i have trouble interpreting the red background.

It was found near a river in a oak pine forest, brought it home and put it in a pot were the picture was taken.
