Not asarum, but what?

    A friend wonders if this plant is a weed. I don't think it is, but I cannot identify the plant for her.

    Possibly Canada mayflower or some kind of aroid. Really need a better photo.

    Thanks, Ron. iPhones don't take the greatest pictures. I'll pass along your guess. I suspect the plant is growing in my friend's daughter's garden, in Delta, BC. I may return here later...

    Those could also be young Zantedeschias (particularly the "fancy" cultivars), although they're a bit late coming up if that's what they are.

    That would be "some kind of aroid".
