This flower had pale-purple monocot blooms on purple stalks growing off a single large stem, sort of like a foxtail lily, except the blooms were not as compact (nor were they dicots). Possibly a Bulbinella, although I got no photos of one in that color during a quick look at Google image search results - and there are a lot of different kinds of bulbs. I am sure I have seen the same one in bulb book(s), but have nothing covering those that bloom at this time of year in my current greatly reduced library.
Hm, I think this pic is not enough to a correct ID, but it looks like a Scilla sp. ... (S. hyacinthoides ?)
