Anyone know which is good choice for a green leaf version that grows like a red Sentinel

I need something narrow and upright.

I am considering orange dream as I have see a few that are staked 6 ft high and have a straight trunk going up.

    Any suggestions?

In the greens the top choice for me is 'Tsukasa Silhouette', naturally upright and with outstanding fall colors. 'Hagoromo' could also be made easily upright, and it is more airy. The yellow leaved version of Hagoromo, 'Hanazu hagoromo', could also be a good choice.
Making 'Orange Dream' narrow and upright will require a lot of hard work permanently, season after season.

'Okushimo' is a green variety that has an upright habit. The branches tend to point stiffly upwards and the tree assumes a narrow vase shape.

Interesting leaf shape too. Not as narrowly upright as 'Tsukasa Silhouette', if some of the pictures available for that maple are representative of its true habit.

I actually ordered from stuff from a Canadian nursery and now for the life of me I can't remember the name. Maybe something to do with 'whispering'?

Was it Whistling Gardens? I've ordered from Darren several times.
