I recently moved to the North Okanagan and am starting a garden in a wooded area. As the weather has been warming up I am finding all kinds of unusual plants popping up, yet a few that seem to be in abundance and I have never seen them before. Anyone able to id these two. Thanks.
Something in the family Apiaceae (umbellifers). You'll probably need to wait for it to flower to get a full identification.
Lomatium dissectum, my guess. But I agree with Michael, you need a look at the inflorescence and even better at the fruits to be sure.
Thank you all very much for the responses, each of the two pics are a different type of plant. I guess I will wait and see what becomes of them.
