Hello - I live on Pender Island and want to obtain a davidica (dove or handkerchief) tree for a present for my sweetheart. Any ideas where either in Vancouver or Victoria? or anywhere for that matter, but i always like to buy close to home. Thanks much

Mandeville Gardens has carried them (located in Burnaby) as well as Southlands Nursery. Art Knapps may also prove a good source( Many locations) as deciduous tree sales are big now.

Van Dusen gardens in Vancouver has some trees - perhaps see if they are selling the seeds. Also check the UBC gardens.
