Here are beautiful Boletes I have harvested on my property. It is a great year for mushroom picking here, since they are almost worms free!

What kind are they? Suillus species?

Yes, I believe they are. Although many of them look more like something in between Boletus and Suillus. May be I should submit a few for better identification.
So far I didn't care too much for the exact identification since I am completely sure they are edible and it is what matters to me the most.

I'm curious to know what they are. I'm out in the Kootenays sometimes and it'd be fun to try to find some of those!

Look like what people call slippery jacks. perfectly safe, although the tacky/slimy pellicle causes diarrhea in some.

Interesting! I would never have an idea not to remove the slippery skin from the cap.
