    Hello everyone,

I was given this plant in a pot as a gift, can anyone identify it for me?

Will be well pleased if anyone can.

    Regards to all,

Looks like Hymenocallis, a plant I am not very familiar with. But all the images online show flowers with foliage, so maybe not.

It reminds me strongly of a number of orchids. Is it possible to get a clearer photo of the flowers?

I thought Nerine too. I wonder if the strappy leaves were cut off when it was potted up?

First come the flowers without leaves.
After the flowers come the leaves.

So this plant is as nature intended and not mutilated.

I have a Nerine bowdenii that is flowering with leaves. The leaves came first. The ones I've seen growing in Vancouver have leaves when flowering.
