In The Garden: Help with ID of small evergreen shrub

    On my walk in Portland, OR, I saw this really nice small evergreen shrub, it is late August and blooming, very, very small flower. This didn't photograph that well (looks much nicer in person), and I should have used some scaled object. If need be, I will go out and get some more pics...

    Ditto to Heather Calluna vulgaris. A rather thin, straggly (probably fairly old) specimen.

    There are many kinds. Local independent garden centers will have assortments on display at this time.
