Please help me with this ID.

    This was growing on the south shore of Lake Union, in Seattle WA. I have not been able to find an ID. I have more photos but this is the best. The bloom is about 3" in diameter.

    Thank you, I think you have it. The Hypericum calycinum, Common Names: Aaron's beard, creeping St. John's wort, Rose of Sharon, goldflower. Fits perfect.
    What a great site this is.

    Might be a good idea not to go by the common names - the Rose of Sharon I know is a very different plant.
