I am looking for a newbies beginner reading material that I can read, possible from the library, on "mushrooms". Am looking for species and photographs. I have viewed many wonderfull pics here and would like some assistants from the older, more experienced, hands, that wouldn't mind assisting a newbie.
The material can be any type fungi, but primarily, am looking towards anything mushroom.
If you could give me names or authors that would be a tremendous help.
    thanks in advance!

www.amazon.com may be a good source for printed material, you should be able to search for local oriented texts.

Thank-you, however, I was just wondering from the old hands if any of them had a quick idea as to which books would be good for learning the hobby.

"Mushrooms Demystified" by David Arora is a good one. "Mushrooms of North America" is a classic. For the PNW "The Savory Wild Mushroom" is a good local book but I don't know how much would apply to Nevada.
