I have 5 tomato plants I am keeping inside under a fluorescent light, waiting for the weather to warm up before putting them in the ground. One of them is getting flowers! Is it warm enough to put them in yet? I live in South surrey, B.C.

    Hi
I put my tomato plants into pots and into a sheltered area (under our sun deck) facing south. They are doing well. We are further east in Mission.
I don't know about putting them into the ground yet, perhaps if your soil is warmed up and drains well.
    Good luck

If you put your tomato plants under a cloche or similar cover, they will do well now.

Before putting them in, acclimatize them by putting them out for 1 hour first day and adding an extra hour each following day for a week to 10 days. If you do not do this your plants may suffer significant damage due to higher UV outside.
