Hello I've been growing flowers and vegetables in my own home for about three years now and have been given both a venus flytrap and a pitcher plant as gifts. And i have no idea if they are sick, too hot, too cold, if their eating why the VFT is growing alot of leaves or how tall the pitcher plant will grow. help please? I think their very pretty flowers and dont want to kill them.

first of all, never water them with tap water, use distilled, RO water or rain water. And you should also Identify what type of pitcher yours is. (nepenthes, sarracenia or cephalotus.)+ don't touch traps if unnecessary.

    here are some helpful sites.

A starting point for the pitcher plant, is if it has a name. Do you have any photos? chillipepper is right, and I'll add a bit. When you say the VFT is growing a lot of leaves, do you mean that it is not growing traps? (the traps are part of the leaf).
