I just moved to a new place in the country and have some of these flowers growing on a vine on my fence. What are they and can the vine harm my live oaks?

They look like morning glory (Ipomoea sp.).

They look like morning glory to me also. If true, beware. They are very invasive. They have taken over the east side of my garage.

They can take over the area they are in, just as long as they don't post a threat to the live oaks. I saw them as I walked around the pasture under the trees. Thanks. Glad to know that there are good people out there.
