    Hi,

I lived in Toronto, z5b, I happened to see such a tall, strong, real tree rose, however, I never seen it from any store, please ID it for me.

    Thanks.

we have an identical-looking one that (due to deer depredation) has now grown to 10ft (and it would be taller if we didn't prune it back q yr.) Ours is a "Queen Elizabeth".

I don't think it's Queen Elizabeth - it's too pale. Very nice rose, though.

It looks a lot like Rosa "The Fairy" or Sweetheart rose (Polyantha rose).

That one produces a low spreading habit and sprays of small solidly pink flowers. Height and structure of specimen asked about result of it not being kept pruned low, in my area similarly built examples of modern large-flowered bedding type roses are frequent.

    How can I identify a found/unknown/mystery rose?

Thank you for that link Ron B. It makes the identification process a lot easier.

I compared the two, looks like they are different.
