My 3 year-old Bloodgood Japanese Maple has a problem this year. The leaves are white around the edges and they are beginning to dry up and fall off. The ground is not dry, we have had more than our usual amount of rain (a lot more) this spring. Does anyone have any idea what might be wrong with my maple?
how do the twigs and branches look? Where leaves have dried up and dropped off, do you see any signs of new buds pushing out? How large is the tree and is the damage confined to a certain part or limb of the tree?
