#2 could be one of several aroids. If you can post closeup photos showing the detail of both the top and bottom of the leaf we might have a better chance. Specifically, I need to see the vein structure of the leaf since none are easily seen in this photo.

Does this plant grow from a tuber (commonly called a bulb)? Does it go dormant?

Yeah...on 2 I hesitated between Syngonium and Caladium.

Those would be two of my choices but without more info it would be only an unfounded ID.

#1 is a common herbaceous bedding annual. I suppose it could be perennial in warmer areas. I can't for the life of me recall the name. It is related to Justicia or shrimp plant in some way. Acanthaceae, anyone? I know it's been ID'd here in the last year. You can sometimes find it in the big home supply stores, at least here in Florida. I'm hoping someone else here can come up with it from this information.

    #3. Pseudotsuga menziesii.

    #6. A Juniperus cultivar.

#7. A dwarf Chamaecyparis lawsoniana or C. pisifera cultivar.

#1 is Crossandra infundibuliformis. It is in Acanthaceae, but I can't find a recent ID on UBC.

What is the photo source for these? Two of them look like not such great specimens of more robust trees. The last one looks like a ratty avocado.
