This weed is growing everywhere in a high pH soil in Kent UK. In fields (where on the picture weedkiller has been applied) and around the local village St. Nicholas at Wade. I was informed it was "Annual Mercury" but looking at comparison pictures does not seem quite right? Can anyone identify? regards Richard Masson
I agree looks like Smyrnium olusatrum, Alexanders. I associate this species with hedgerows, roadsides and the edge of fields. Brian
