    Hi all,
I'm looking for some help identifying this fungus that I have found emerging from the ground. The pods seem to have erupted and the fleshy skin is curling back to expose the inside of the pod which is mostly below ground. They are found both singly and in clusters.
    Any help is appreciated.
    Thanks

They might fall into the family of puffballs and earthstars.....Frog definately has the idea I think...
I've not seen ones with the pale insides before though? Usually they're greenish or brown inside because of all the spore.
Are these hard to the touch or rubbery?
