I'm trying to help our son identify the plants at the house he just purchased. We have them all except for one ... can anyone name the plant in the attached photo?
Thanks for any and all help ...

    Where are you located?

I am going to take a guess and say a Loropetalum.

First glance it does look Cotoneaster-like but I am with Harry on this and say Loropetalum. The leaves look coarsely hairy unlike any Cotoneaster that I know of.

It couldn't be a Cotoneaster because they have even bases and if you look closely, some of the leaves have an oblique base to them.

Therefore, I am going to say Cotoneaster
