Oxalis maybe ? http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Oxalis , http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Oxalis_albicans and removal www.portolavalleyranch.org/plants/invasives/invasivelist.pdf
well, vina1, sometimes all you can do is reclassify a "weed" as a "valuable plant". i had a clover problem at one house i lived in. it got to the point where i gave up on pulling up clover and pulled up the last straggly bits of grass instead. the clover filled in the spaces and i rather liked the end result. however, i was lucky enough to be invaded by a relatively compact, dense type of clover; it made a great lawn. good luck!
Could it be Sour sob as mentioned in this article at top http://www.nurseriesonline.com.au/weeds/oxalis.html http://images.google.com.au/images?...esult_group&ct=title&resnum=4&ved=0CB8QsAQwAw or buttercup???? if you are in a damp area Liz
Dear Chimera and other friends, Here are the photos of the clovers lovely came up all over my garden (-:
I think that is one of the oxalis. I must admit when I had them down in the sand belt area in the suburbs I left these as they were so bright and cheery and were only up for a while each year. http://www.turffiles.ncsu.edu/turfid/csPagedPdField.aspx?PlantID=OXAST http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Oxalis_stricta Liz
