Weather is nice, flowers are beautiful. My indoor garden is happy.

 

Pretty geraniums, i brought a few of mine inside, and repotted them, we'll see how they do.

 

If given enough sunshine, geraniums will bloom all winter long in a window...

Yes they do, don't they. Mine are only two years old. But last year they flowered all winter.

 

WOW SHERRY! Those Passiflorae are doing amazing!! I'm so happy I gave those seeds to the right person :D

I haven't been taking many pictures recently, but I'll be sure to have a few soon :)

 

I knew you'd be impressed Joey. I still can't thank you enough for sending me those awesome seeds. I can't wait to see it in Spring. Hope there's flowers...

Also, something weird I noticed today...

My succulent plant, sent to me as a cutting from someone in Oklahoma, from UBC, is now air rooting!

The 2nd shot shows the roots that are forming...

Here are a few of my pics, 3 of my Nelumbo seeds from Tugo have sprouted just waiting for the 4th, Many Thanks again Tugo.

Also my Bougainvillea is in full flower now but here is a pic from when it just started to flower a couple of weeks ago. This is the 3rd time this year and each time the flowers have been a different colour. I'll take more pics this weekend, my Strelizia and my Banana are here too.

Dear HbL, I didn't start with your pepper seeds, cause I am waiting for spring and yours are great as always.

I would like to say hope the Forum monitors read this.
When one follows a thread, is there a way that the e-mail message we receive would show/say
That the notification is a message from A addressing B or something like that.
Not that I don't want to see others postings but one would find more interest
in following a reply to one own posting that what ever A tells B or C.

I speak French but can't translate it all but it shows some of the rares plants in South America with nice photos and some reference to a product ( that's not the reason I forward this) but for those who will translate it online it shows how many of these plant knowledge goes back to the Incas

QUESTION :Where does one post plant photos to the bulk that is shown day per day in your daily photo. Does a photo necessarily require a whole technical/ writeup?

Hello, Hollyberry Lady!
I was surprised to see that you have what look like bromeliads planted in the same pot with succulents - or are my eyes (notoriously) deceiving me? How is this working for you? any special treatment for the b's - if that's what they are?

 

No special treatment, just lots of sun and very little water.

They announced some light Frost for Vancouver Can SWISS CHARD survive that or must I cut I all down and freeze it ?
I have 2 patches under plastic green house but more of the same without protection. Thanks

 

More pretty flowers Sherry and the Christmas cactus is so pretty.

 

Vic, the net says it will withstand mild frosts, but I don't know how mild your frosts are up there. It says usually the frost kills off some outer leaves and the inner leaves remain harvest-able.

 

Thank you.. I guess if I close the top of the green houses top the ones in there will survive a little longer ..they are 2mx1mx1m in size.
