I found a troupe of three generations of these agaricus on the lawn of a local supermarket. The large one with the very dark brown gills is from a first flush, the ones with the tan gills (which were pink this aft) are from a second and the ones that don't have flattened caps yet are the third flush. They don't stain when cut and the spore print will be obviously brown, and the caps go a little coppery yellow where rubbed. Thanks for your ideas about this. Fish Dr.
Back away slowly, while maintaining eye contact but not raising arms or shouting. Do not hurry off until some distance away.
You're definitely NOT supposed to maintain eye contact. It can be taken as a challenge. You are supposed to watch in a very indirect way.
It does look like you have actually overcome them, you must know what you are doing. Hyphae all over the world will now tremble at the mention of your name.
Just to make sure I never step on any of these the next time I'm in Victoria .... EXACTLY where were these found ..... ?
