aka rosella in Australia and sorrel in West Indies, a very interresting plant. The red calyx is used to make jam, jelly and drinks. The leaves are used as a vegetable in many countries, Africa, Asia, Jamaica.

    Yes it's Rosella, Hibiscus sabdariffa
It makes a stunning display when used in floristry. It is long lasting as a cut flower, it looks good when picked green too.
I was at a wedding recently and I was given a champagne with a rosella seed bud in the drink it was very pretty. It made the champagne taste like it had Pomegranate syrup in it, a sweet tart flavour -wild hibiscus syrup
