Anybody please help me identify this long aerial root vine.
It has been grown in Thailand for a long time but I am unable to find its scientific name.
It's a very popular vine for tropical and Bali gardens.
    Anyone know the name?

    Thank you very much.

Thank you Saltcedar. I'm not so sure if it's Dioscorea. As far as I know this vine doesn't have any tuber. But I will look closely if it really belongs to this family.

Beautiful! A living curtain---wow. Cool. Whatever it is.
Are we sure that the leaves visible belong to the plant producing the roots? That there is not another plant thriving on top or alongside the curtain-maker?

Definitely, the roots and the leaves are from the same plant. The roots can create beautiful visual effects in the garden!

Amazing! How much maintenance do they require---must they be "combed" to hang so neatly, or do they just grow that way?
