We have 5 pine trees that we think are the same type of tree. We don't know what kind of pine tree they are. Can anyone identify them for us?

    Thanks

Guess I should have mentioned that the trees are in North Dakota, USA. We are in Zone 3, so they are cold hardy.

    Red Pine Pinus resinosa.

The needles are too long and green (not glaucous) for Scots Pine P. sylvestris, and not dense enough for Austrian Pine P. nigra. Other pines hardy in zone 3 can be excluded by differing branching structure or needle texture.

A closer view would be better.
