mexican plant

    So you found out the first one is a Clerodendrum? The second I think will turn out to be a Pereskia.

    thanx...looks like the ist is clerodendrum speciosum (meaning ordinary, or original?)

    the second looks like pereskia grandiflora, which is not like the euphorbias called 'crown of thorns'...i think the locals looked at the spines and misslabeled it
