without seeing the flower, can't be sure.

I have one cactus, and still trying to learn the basics, but this looks like one Lila Pereszke identified a few days ago as Pilosocereus azureus. Especially so if those larger cacti in the background are the same kind, just more mature. I 'think' the spine ridge count is too low for ferocactus. I'm assuming six total from the pic.

those in the background are a different type than the one in front.

three species of barrel cactus: mojepe siml ( 'saguaro barrel cactus', Ferocactus acanthodes), siml caacöl ('big barrel cactus', Ferocactus covillei) and siml áa ('true barrel cactus', Ferocactus wislizenii). The species F. covillei also had several other names
    I hope this helps

Yes, the large cacti in the background is really a Pilosocereus, (+Lophophora), but this one in the foreground is a Trichocereus chiloensis! :)

Hi again, sorry to confuse anyone, I should have been more specific about which cactus I needed to identify...this being the foreground one IE the Trichocereus chilensis...thankyou Lila & everyone else for their input :)

I'm not so much name confused as I am ignorant of ID features to look for. I know the basics of distinguishing cacti vs other spiny lookalikes and habitat variations important to care, but ID keys are still primarily just poorly defined guesses for me.
