I have a series of Wodyetia palms with strange warts on the trunk, I need to identify the cause and how to solve it. I have not been able to identify the cause of it, at the moment is just in a group of palms and have not spread to any other kind of palms, only been seen on the Wodyetia palms. Attached some photographs of the trunk and the warts to help figure out this problem.

Have you fixed this problem yet?
Kinda gross looking, if I may say so myself... Looks to be a fungus of some sort...
Maybe a strong fungicide sprayed around your property could help... ?

    I take that back.
I was at a nursery today, with all sorts of sizes... And some did have this wart looking on the trunk.
I think it may be a normal occurance...
