Small plant, Blue Berries

    Here is a small plant i found on the side of my driveway. I cant even guess as to what it is. It is not in my fieldguide book. Please tell me what these are. I appreciate it.

    Berries look like a brier, Smilax. Other photo looks like ash leaves.

    The berries are connected to those plants by the stem. The "branch" that the berries are on and the branch that those plants are on are connected towards the base. I just looked smilax berries up, and some are red and some are blue? Is that true? The berry clusters kind of resemble them i guess..
