Hi there, I've located a very nice Ulmus parvifolia tree, in my neck of the woods.
The garden centre states that it is hardy in my zone. (I trust the garden centre as it is owned by a prominent published gardener)....
They also have one planted in their personal garden.

The only trouble is....is that I cannot find the variety...
They are telling me it is Ulmus parvifolia "subarosa". They have it spelled "shubarosa", but they told me that was a typo.

Has anyone heard of this variety?
I just want to check via the internet on it etc.

Thanks for any reply if any!
    Ken

I think I may have it figured out.....

There is a "Ulmus suberosa" listed.
    I'll check it out!
