Nettle-Like Plants

    The following are plants that look like nettle to me, but i am almost certain they are not. They do not have the sharp spikes, instead the stems are covered in hairs. There is a similarity with nettle, though. There are no flowers, and right now they are about 2.5 feet high. This is in Western Massachusetts. I would like to know what type of plant this is, so any help is appreciated, thanks.

    They look like nettles to me, too.

    Probably an aster family plant.

    Looks like something in the Mint family.
