Please help Identify this tree

    I was mowing my back pasture thismorning and i came upon this little maple tree ( or at least i think its a maple tree). I mowed around it and took some photos in hopes of finding out what it is .

    Thank you for identifying the tree for me. It's a mystery how this little tree got onto my property. I live on a prairie surrounded by conifer trees. The nearest maple trees that I know of are at the scatter creek rest area on interstate 5 about a mile away. how far do you think the winged seeds (samaras) can travel. Living here in the Chehalis gap we have a constant wind with gusts up to 60 MPH.
