I am getting a totally big green thumb, everytime i eat something with a seed, i do the stratification on it if necessary, and have been able to grow everything.. which includes:

2 Granny Smith Apple Tree seedlings
    1 Meyers Lemon tree seedling
    2 Date Palm Seedlings
    1 Avacado plant
    2 Mimosa Tree Seedlings
4 tomato Plants (2 already producing approx 3 inch round fruits, the other 2, babies)
    dozens of Cucumber plants
    2 Sweet Basil plants
2 Rose Bush plants ( 1 a blueish purple, the other a bright brilliant Red)
    1 Jade Plant
6 Snake Plants (WITH THE GREEN STRIPES UP THE SIDES.. TRICKY!!)
    100's of Nasturtium plants
    12 Christmas Cactus babies
40 Snow Pea Plants (which are now well over 6 foot tall)
several Pathos plants(one is climbing and is 7 feet long so far)

    and some other stuff...

I am so happy, I am glad I can grow stuff good from cuttings, seeds, etc. and now that i bought a bottle of Rooting Hormone, the possibilities are endless!! currently i am also stratifying about 10 Bing Cherry Seeds and am waiting patiently for them to be ready to come out in about 20 weeks.. hehe, it keeps me busy, and this way i have something to look forward to 10,15, 20 years down the line.. i love it!!

Just a word of advice, don't do what I did years ago, I got so into preserving that I went over board, I had so much made I could't use it all and could ot give it all away, just make what you think you will use and a few extra to give to close friends or family for Xmas gifts.
